GIFT CERTIFICATES
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ON-LINE PURCHASE OF GIFT CERTIFICATES
These conditions aim to define the sale procedures between Caztel Communications and the buyer. They regulate all the necessary steps; from ordering, to payment, to delivery and they ensure the follow-up of the order between the parties.
THE PRINCIPLE OF THE GIFT CERTIFICATE
Through the gift certificate, the buyer offers long distance calls to a beneficiary. The gift certificate shows the amount offered, the name and telephone number of the beneficiary, the issuing date and dates of validity of the certificate. Once the beneficiary has the gift certificate in his possession, he must confirm its validity by contacting Caztel Customer Service at 10-10-710-00.
- The buyer can also be the beneficiary. To do so, the buyer must contact customer service and have his number associated with one of Caztel's prepaid services.
ORDER
The buyer can place a gift certificate order through the Internet using the on-line options. The order can be registered on the website only if the buyer clearly identifies himself by filling out the on-line order form. Any registered order confirms the buyer's acceptance of the terms and conditions. Caztel Communications commits to honour the orders registered on the web site.
- The gift certificates cannot be converted into cash either partly, or entirely. Moreover, they are neither exchangeable, nor refundable.
GIFT CERTIFICATES DELIVERY
The gift certificates will be sent through Canada Post regular postal services. Caztel Communications commits to sending the gift certificates within a maximum of three weeks following the receipt of payment. However, Caztel Communications cannot be held responsible for a delay in delivery caused by a Postal strike or any other national or regional delay of the post. The delivery will only be made during working days and not on public holidays.
The buyer can choose to have the gift certificate delivered:
- to his home
- to the beneficiary's address
- to any other address
A flyer explaining how the service works, the advantages of using the service and the current rates will be sent with the gift certificate so that both the buyer and the beneficiary can consult it.
VALIDITY OF THE GIFT CERTIFICATE
In order to be able to use the gift certificate, the beneficiary must have open access to long distance calls from his telephone line. Furthermore, the beneficiary's phone line must be located in a territory covered by Caztel and be provide by one of the local telephone companies from which the 10-10-710 service is available.

The use of the gift certificate is subject to the rates in effect at the time the service is used by the beneficiary for a long distance call.
The gift certificate is valid between the validity dates written on the certificate.
PAYMENT TERMS
The buyer can pay the amount of his gift certificate order by cheque or money order payable to Caztel Communications sent to P.O Box 425, Sainte-Marie de Beauce, Qc G6E 3B7, or via Desjardins Internet banking, using the reference # given at the time the order was placed or at the Caisses Desjardins' counters or ATM Machines. If the buyer chooses to pay at the Caisses Desjardins' counters or ATM the buyer must wait for the reception of the gift certificate bill before proceeding with the payment.
THE PRICES OF THE GIFT CERTIFICATES
The listed prices are in Canadian dollars and all taxes are included.
